TV Ratings: "Mother" Hits Season-High
We still haven't learned how Ted met his kids' mother, but that didn't stop the CBS laugher from reaching season high of 8.6 million viewers last night, also giving freshman comedy "The Big Bang Theory" a half-a-million bump. But did the arrival of Kristen Bell have any effect on the ratings of NBC's "Heroes"?
The sci-fi drama slipped over half-a-million viewers last night scoring only two thirds of its audience from one year ago. Perhaps the introduction of new characters has made last season's breakout hit a bit too all-over-the-place for some fans.
Last week's hottest new series "Samantha Who?" has managed to hold on to most of its premiere audience scoring a very impressive 14.35 million viewers in week #2. The question remains: how well will the comedy do once "Dancing" ends?
Speaking of "Dancing with the Stars" the show got a 2 million bump rising to 21.81 million viewers as the most watched telecast in America last night. That made ABC the top network last night across all key demos.

Dancing with the Stars (21.81 million)
