TV Ratings: "Cavemen" Beat "Bones"
ABC's new back-to-back comedies "Cavemen" and "Carpoolers" pulled in about 9 million viewers last night, beating all but "NCIS" on CBS (16.26 million). FOX's "House" was the evening's top show (17.28 million) beating "Dancing with the Stars" Results Show (farewell to Albert Reed) which lured 15.7 million viewers to the small screen.
The 2nd episode of CBS' new soap "Cane" lost almost 2 million viewers and ended up with 9.24 million. If the decline continues in week #3 the drama may get dangerously close to the underwhelming ratings levels that got its 2006 timeslot predecessor "Smith" canceled.
The CW's "Reaper" (also in week #2) lost 400,000 viewers (2.81 million). That may actually be less than what the discontinued "Veronica Mars" used to average in the timeslot one year ago, but at least the show grows out of its lead-in "Beauty and the Geek" (2.66 million).
Earlier in the evening, "Bones" was seen by 7.89 million people, while "Carpoolers" slightly grew out of its silly lead-in "Cavemen" (9.02 million vs. 8.98 million).

8-9 mil for the comedies? Must've been from the hype. I dunno, aren't sitcoms supposed to be funny? Or has that term been like redifined or something?
I watched Cavemen for about 1.3 seconds, then immediately switched back to Bones. I'd be surprised if they pulled in that many viewers next week.
i saw it and it was soooooo retared...i like cavemen and learning about them...but this was sooo much more boring then my history class!!!
