Kate Walsh Turns 40

Kate Walsh, the star of TV's hottest new drama "Private Practice," turned 40 last Saturday.

Walsh who plays Dr. Addison Montgomery, a sexy 30-something obstetrician on the Santa Monica-set show, is one of the hottest actresses in Hollywood today.

Walsh has been in the business for over 10 years, but it is only her recent success on the Shonda Rhimes-penned dramas that has given her new self-confidence and catapulted her into superstardom.

The actress was snapped on Saturday with her husband Alex Young before her birthday bash at Parc Lounge in West Hollywood.

Kate's "Practice" co-star Taye Diggs as well as her fellow Seattle Grace docs Sara Ramirez and Justin Chambers attended the party.
