"Prison Break" Spoilers #3.02 "Fire / Water"

FOX releases stills and details about the 2nd episode of the 3rd season of "Prison Break" entitled "Fire/Water" (airs Monday, September 24 at 8/7c). There's also a really cool new video promo for the new season from the British satellite channel Sky One which airs the show in the UK. Plus, is Sarah Wayne Callies (Dr. Sara Tancredi) really gone from "Prison Break" for good?


Michael races to find a mysterious fellow inmate named Whistler before Mahone. Whistler is hiding within the prison's sewer system and he may have had something to do with Michael's incarceration.


Meanwhile, searching for clues outside the prison, Lincoln runs into an old friend and asks for help to break Michael out of that hellhole of a prison. Later, he also makes a new friend.



Back in Sona, water is running low and T-Bag slithers his way into Lechero's graces as the prisoners threaten a revolt. We will meet 40-year-old Colonel Escamilla who is in charge of running Sona.



Colonel informs Lechero a water truck would be coming in a couple of days. But in a place like Sona, anything can happen within two days and with no guards to take hostage and demand speedy delivery will Lechero lose control?



Actress Camille Guaty appears in the episode as Maricruz.

Finally, TV Guide reported on Friday that despite everything that the management of actress Sarah Wayne Callies had said over the summer, the actress would not be coming back for the third season of "Prison Break."

Callies was expected not to appear in early season 3 due to her pregnancy, but both FOX and her agent assured fans she would be coming back and the actress hired to replace her in a couple of scenes would only be a temporary solution.


Following the report, blog JustJared published a statement from FOX saying the network and the studio have not confirmed that Sarah Wayne Callies has departed the series this season and that Dr. Sara Tancredi plays a significant part in the storyline this year.

Is this just a trick to keep the show in the headlines or has the actress really left the show and the news was leaked too early?
