Meet Serena & Kids of CW's "Gossip Girl"

These bar-dancing, marijuana-smoking, scantily-clad teenagers from a couple of same-sex private schools in Upper East Side never seem to be doing any homework. At least that is how the creator of "The O.C." perceives them.



The CW's "Gossip Girl" (premieres Wednesday, September 19, after an all-new "America's Top Model") begins when blond bombshell Serena van der Woodsen returns to Manhattan from a boarding school. Serena van der Woodsen? With a name like that, you know daddy's filthy rich.

An anonymous blogger (Veronica Mars' Kristen Bell) dishes about Serena and all the misbehaving teenagers in her life. Before you skip the "Private Practice" special on ABC and dive into the story inspired by a bestseller (4,5 million books sold) here's a CW video-lowdown on the prep school teens.
