Televisionista: Lynette Gets a Sister, Plus More "Desperate Housewives" Season 4 Guest Stars

Felicity Huffman's character Lynette Scavo has had a large family on ABC's "Desperate Housewives" since the show premiered in 2004. Now the word is out, in addition to veteran actress Polly Bergen who plays Lynette's mother, Sarah Paulson of "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" fame is also joining the dramedy as Lynette's sister. Felicity Huffman appeared as herself in the pilot episode of "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" last year and remains good friends with Sarah Paulson who attended the launch of Huffman's book earlier this year. The actress was outed by her girlfriend Cherry Jones (who plays The President on the upcoming season of '24') at the 2005 Tony Awards.

Academy-Award nominee Robert Forster whom you have probably seen in supporting roles in many high-profile TV and movie productions dating all the way back to the 1960s (his recent TV credits include "Numb3rs," "Huff" and "Karen Sisco") will appear in as yet undisclosed role, as will past guest stars Shirley Knight (Bree's former mother-in-law Phyllis Van De Kamp) and Jesse Metcalfe (Gaby's former lover John Rownland).
