"Veronica Mars" Star Joins "Heroes"
Actress Kristen Bell, who played "Veronica Mars" on the now-canceled CW series and was pursued for a guest starring role on a number of prime-time shows including "LOST", is joining the cast of NBC's "Heroes" for a multi-episode arc starting in October.
The in-demand actress will also appear in 3 movies (one of the projects is a voice-over in an animated feature) and narrate the new CW series "Gossip Girl" from O.C. creator Josh Schwartz based on a bestselling novel.
Bell's character Elle will have something to do with the supposed death of Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia) as well as the future of cheerleader Claire Bennett (Hayden Panetteire).
The actress who came this-close to guest starring on the upcoming 4th season of "LOST" chose to appear on NBC's "Heroes" instead. NBC confirmed casting Bell was very difficult.
Maybe if I had watched "Veronica Mars" I would have known what all the hoopla is about.

Chop chop, Justin. You have 3 seasons of VM to watch...pronto! :) Then you'll see why fans love this show to death (myself included).
