"Heroes" Cast Host Fave Episodes

As the countdown to the beginning of season 2 of "Heroes" (September 24) as well as the release of the first season on DVD (August 28) continues, the cast of NBC's hit ensemble drama will host their favorite episodes over the next 5 weeks starting Monday, August 13.

It all begins with Ali Larter ('Niki/Jessica Sanders') and Adrian Pasdar's ('Nathan Petrelli') favorite episode, entitled 'Collision,' (#1.04) during which the viewers can see a sneak peek of Larter's new movie "Resident Evil: Extinction" also starring Mila Jovovich and Ashanti.

The cast will also host the following episodes:

Monday, August 20: Hayden Panettiere ("Claire Bennet") and Milo Ventimiglia ("Peter Petrelli") host "Homecoming" (#1.09),

Monday, August 27: Masi Oka ("Hiro Nakamura") and James Kyson Lee ("Ando Masahashi") host "Six Months Ago" (#1.10),

Monday, Sept. 3: Jack Coleman ("H.R.G.") and Greg Grunberg ("Matt Parkman") host "Company Man" (#1.17) and

Monday, Sept. 10: Sendhil Ramamurthy ("Dr. Mohinder Suresh") and Zachary Quinto ("Sylar") host "Parasite" (#1.18).

As you may see the selected episodes feature crucial events in the storyline of characters portrayed by the actors hosting the episodes.

NBC has yet to announce which episode will air September 17, one week before the 2nd season premiere, but I would guess it will be the first season finale "How to Stop an Exploding Man" (#1.23).

The network repeated episodes #1.19-1.22 in June and then kept "Heroes" off the air for almost 2 months.
