FOX Releases "Prison Break" Season 3 Stills

Unlike the past 2 years when "Prison Break" premiered at the end of August, fans of the FOX drama will have to wait till Monday, September 17 to see what happened after Wenty-the-hottie ended up in that hideous Sona prison.


Rumor has it, FOX execs really loved the Sona footage and had asked the producers to include even more of the prison scenes than originally planned.



What makes Sona more interesting than Fox River Penitentiary (the original prison the gang broke out from in season 1) is that it's a Panamanian prison which is basically a lawless society within the prison walls and the inmates are allowed to do whatever they want.



Michael Scofield will have plenty of drama on his hands this year - Columbian drug lords and Panamanian psychotics will make life cheap at Sona.



Mahone will be losing his mind (having run out of his prescription pills), Bellick will be running around in a diaper and T-Bag will be trying to keep a low profile amid all that mess (episode #1 may include a male rape).



Plus there's a new inmate (Chris Vance) who may be responsible for what happened to Michael and a kingpin named Lechero (Robert Wisdom) ruling Sona.


Meanwhile, Michael's exonerated brother Lincoln (Dominic Purcell) is on the outside, playing James Bond for a change, trying to help his brother and as the actor happily promises - Linc is about to get laid as two new female characters join the cast. Well, it was about time.


Although Michael's love Sara Tancredi is off the show for a while due to the actress' maternity leave, she will be back just like Linc's son L.J.



The 3rd season of "Prison Break" stars: Wentworth Miller (Michael Scofield), Dominic Purcell (Lincoln Burrows), Amaury Nolasco (Fernando Sucre), Wade Williams (Brad Bellick), Robert Knepper (Theodore 'T-Bag' Bagwell), William Fichtner (Alexander Mahone), Jodi Lyn O'Keefe (Susan B), Chris Vance (Whistler), Danay Garcia (Sofia) and Robert Wisdom (Luchero).


FOX is expected to begin the season with the first 4 episodes September 17-October 8 and then take a 3-week break for World Series coverage. "Prison Break" should then be back on November 5 with episode 5.
