NBC to Sponsor 1000 "Friday Night Lights" Fan House Parties
The 2nd season of NBC's captivating character drama "Friday Night Lights" premieres Friday, October 5 at 9/8c (new day and time), but 1000 lucky fans who get to host an NBC-sponsored FNL House Party won't have to wait that long to get a sneak peek at what lies ahead.
As part of a new marketing initiative to help promote the launch of the 2nd season, NBC will select 1000 fans who wish to host a "Friday Night Lights" House Party on Friday, September 14 and give them a great party package to kick things off, including a sneak peek of the season premiere episode.
NBC will not be giving the party organizers the entire premiere episode (at this day and age it wouldn't take more than a couple of hours before it illegally ended up on the Internet), but the selected hosts are still getting a great deal as the package includes:
•A custom DVD with Producer's Choice Episodes from Season 1, greetings from the cast and an exclusive sneak peek of the first episode of Season 2
•A bonus DVD, with the first 4 episodes of Season 1 plus a sneak peak of the new NBC show, Bionic Woman
•Great collectibles including rally towels, stadium seat cushions, stadium cups, megaphones, beverage koozies... even FNL microwave popcorn.
So, if you're all jazzed up about the 2nd season of "Friday Night Lights" (as you should be because it's one helluva kick-ass show) make sure you click HERE and apply ASAP as today is the last day for entries.
Meanwhile, if you still don't have a clue what I'm talking about, I urge you - "Friday Night Lights: Season 1" is out on DVD August 28 (currently for only $19.99 at Amazon.com) and if you happen not to like the show, you can click HERE and Universal Home Entertainment will give you your money back.
