"Brothers & Sisters" Spoilers: Justin's Injury Revealed
The war in Iraq brings tragedy to the Walker clan on ABC's "Brothers & Sisters" this fall. After weeks of speculation about Justin's physical challenge, spoilers have finally emerged shedding light on the extent of his injuries. Also, shocking developments concerning Tommy & Julia, the appearance of Courtney McCallister and the return of a Scotty you didn't expect.
The Walker family travels to a military hospital in the second episode entitled "An American Family" to pick up Justin (Dave Annable) who has just returned from Iraq.
They learn that Justin suffered severe injuries in his knee and can no longer walk without crutches. In addition to physical injury, Justin has suffered crippling trauma and may never be the same.
A broken Justin then appears before the students of San Marino High and his emotional family in the third episode "History Repeating" and makes a heartbreaking attempt to give a speech.
Meanwhile, there is a shocking development for Tommy and Julia who suffers from depression following the loss of her child. Although her husband tries to be there for her, his absence brought about by his new wine-making business forces her to turn to her parents.
Uncompromising Ben and Beth Rourke make an appearance to take their unhappy (even sobbing) daughter Julia away from her negligent husband Tommy. Is this the end for the once happy couple?
Senator McCallister (Rob Lowe) deals with a blast from the past when we finally meet his wife Courtney McCallister who he has unfinished business with. Expect to see a darker side to the senator is the upcoming episodes.
Finally, as earlier revealed although Kevin (Matthew Rhys) is dating Senator's brother Jason (Eric Winters) his former flame Scotty (Luke MacFarlane) returns to stir things up.
What you may not expect is that when we see the adorable Scotty again he begs Kevin for help with his DUI charge after he is found by a police officer living in his 1972 car. What happened to Scotty?
Many thanks to KC, our "Brothers & Sisters" scooper trooper.

Just a word of caution...There appears to be "foilers" in the new sides. The original spoilers about Justin's brain injuries were clearly false, as they would have essentially rendered him a vegetable for the rest of his life. In reality, he's mentally fine when he returns. He did, however, severely injure his knee.
Likewise, some people are speculating the "Julia has cancer" info is actually a false cover for depression (which we saw signs of in the season finale).
yes, the brain damage storyline did seem quite far-fetched given Justin's ability to converse with Rebecca at the restaurant.
Also, giving Julia cancer after all she's had to cope with would put the show into the jump-the-shark territory.
Thx, anonymous!
Yes, there may be a foiler in the latest sides about the cancer on Julia's behalf...but we'll see.
