"Brothers & Sisters" Casts Mrs. McCallister
"Two and a Half Men" star Marin Hinkle will appear in at least one episode of ABC's hit sudser "Brothers & Sisters" as Rob Lowe's estranged wife. Plus, hot casting news for "Friday Night Lights" (NBC), "Cashmere Mafia" (new, ABC) and "Medium" (NBC).
TV Guide reports Hinkle was cast in a recurring role on ABC's "Brothers & Sisters" as Courtney McCallister, Senator McCallister bitter ex-wife. She appears on a hit talk-show to discuss her husband's presidential aspirations bringing more tension to their icy relationship.
NBC has meanwhile added "Twin Peaks" veteran actor Chris Mulkey to play the Panthers new coach on "Friday Night Lights" (now that Kyle Chandler's Coach Taylor leaves town for his new job).
His uncompromising new approach to coaching the Dillon High School football team brings friction within the team and puts the new assistant Jason Street (Scott Porter) between a rock and a hard place.
Anjelica Houston ("Prizzi's Honor") is joining NBC's Patricia Arquette-fronted supernatural series "Medium" Cynthia Keener, an investigator who enters into an unusual partnership with Allison Dubois (Arquette).
Finally, Tom Everett Scott has reached an agreement with ABC to play the fiance of Lucy Liu' character on the midseason replacement drama "Cashmere Mafia" from "Sex and the City" creator Darren Star.
