Paris Hilton Gives Larry King a Boost
Paris Hilton gave Larry King his best ratings in two years helping veteran talker beat FAUX News' Billo.
3.2 million people tuned into the interview on an hour-long talk show that averaged only 1.4 million viewers just a day earlier.
King's highest rated recent telecasts were "Emergency Landing of a Jet Blue Airbus 320 in LA" (9/21/05 - 4.9 million viewers) and Star Jones interview (6/29/06 - 3 million).
As for the Paris Hilton interview, I couldn't help but crack up when King asked Paris why she chose to speak up and she said "Because you're such an icon, Larry".
Yes, that and the fact that NBC turned the Hilton family's $1 million offer down.

Paris Hilton has had a jolt to wake up and now act out the true Aqurarian role she’s come here to accomplish. There will be some very significant luring, to go back to the illusionary surface world of glitz and glamor. The mentoring and coaching she received from a spiritual advisor got her through the dark tunnel she found herself in, grasping for light. All of what seemed to work before in her life, won’t work anymore and that includes lies. It was clear to everyone she lied on Larry King. Hope this spiritual person will stay on to help her get to the next step on this journey as she’ll need the support and guidance. This is a spark igniting in the world- espy in Hollywood– To all of those young people who will also go through their “Orientation” time– and coming sooner than later.
BTW, most of the masses (espy in Hollywood) do not get that when we leave this earth there are no favorites. A soul is a soul. And souls are not interested in jet setting, fast cars or 1.000.00 purses unless these material items have lessons attached.

Yeah, but I actually have proof to back up my arguments.(If you sleep with multiple people in your life time, and for the simple reason of having fun, that makes you a slut, plain and simple)
As for FOX news, you really got no proof that they are idiots, besides comparing them to other news networks, am I correct? So basically, because they tell you the news that you would like to ignore, they are idiots.
So comparing our two statements is completely, well, incorrect. Paris has had MULTIPLE partners, right?
But you cannot prove exactly WHY the people at Fox are idiots, because they just aren't. Unless your definition of an idiot is someone who does not try to control their audience.
First, I find the derogatory term "slut" inappropriate. My choice would be "promiscuous". I believe the word "slut" indicates ignorance.
I think it is primitive to judge a human being because of the number of sexual partners they have had or whether they have sexual intercourse for recreational purposes or not.
Second, I think it is absolutely irrelevant to say that "it takes a promiscuous person to beat" the cable channel in question.
Other than to insult Paris Hilton, I find the original statement containing the word "slut" pointless.
Well, certainly, I judge people based off of observations I make, not what the other media tells me. Now, unless you are going to argue that she has not had MANY partners, your argument itself becomes pointless. And by it took her to beat Fox news, I meant that it took something completely irrelevent to America, meaning that is all other networks are good for, news about celebrities, nothing that actually matters to this country.
Why do I even bother responding to you? You are obviously just listening to yourself. This is a complete waste of my time.
When did I say Paris Hilton was not promiscuous? I know she is. And I don't have a problem with that.
I only said you were ignorant because you brand promiscuous people "sluts". And that is something I have a problem with.
The Paris Hilton interview being relevant or irrelevant to America has nothing to do with her being monogamous or promiscuous. Being a great person has nothing to do with how many people one goes to bed with.
So, if Paris Hilton is irrelevant to America - which I may actually agree with - it is for other reasons than her sexual behavior.
And that is why I find your mentioning her promiscuity in connection with CNN's ratings success in your first comment above complete and utter nonsense.
CNN is nonsense, so it fits. However, unlike you, I am not calling for CNN to be taken off the air. I guess this further shows which side is really intrested in FAIRNESS.
