Lance Bass & Degrassi Celebrate "The N"

Openly gay singer Lance Bass and the cast of hit cable series "Degrassi" along with bedazzling beauties Brittny Gastineau, Selita Ebanks and Kim Kardashian came to New York City's Marquee club last night to celebrate 5 years of The N, a cable network for teenagers.

The N which airs Canadian high-school series "Degrassi: The Next Generation" (a new season begins Friday, June 29) is a Viacom-owned network which will undergo major changes this summer as it reverts to commercials-free format it initially had, and adopts a new, Internet-inspired digital appearance to keep up with changes in the modern world.

The channel is notorious for running censored versions of previously aired programs such as music videos or the MTV animated series "Daria." Two full episodes of the channel's signature series "Degrassi" were canned due to the subject of abortion, which the network management deemed inappropriate.
