Kristin from E!Online said Katherine Heigl wasn't the one who was upset about the spin off. She posted this issue as one blind item, but made it clear it wasn't Katherine.
Don't know why, but my guess is Patrick Dempsey is unhappy about the spin off.
Get your facts right Heigl has repeatedly expressed her delight for Kate Walsh in the spinoff - who is a close friends. She event repeated how pleased she was on TV in two interviews yesterday. It was Pompeo who was less than impressed.
I did not say "facts." I said "speculation." And what I was referring to was the Star Magazine story about Heigl's stalled contract negotiations that ran shortly after the announcement of the spin-off. The article implied the cast was upset Walsh was chosen for the project. Which is why I said "tabloid." I am happy we have Katherine Heigl fans here.
I'm a Katherine fan indeed. But i know people are speculating she's the one unhappy about it. I understand what you said, i was just giving you a piece of info. I was not trying to be rude or something :)
Actually Cibele, I was talking to our anonymous friend over there.
Good Lord, I hope I didn't come across as if I thought that anyone was being rude.
I simply wanted to clarify what I originally wrote.
Please, feel free to voice any concerns you may have over any of the stories and add any info you may feel is valuable.
All comments are very welcome. Apart from vulgarities, of course. Those will be deleted. :)
I got what you said :)
Just wanted to make everything clear.
Kristin thinks herself as good friends with Heigl, of course she'll never say it was her that was upset. Do you really think Heigl would tell the truth about being upset over the spin-off? The girl is an actress after all.
Well, i really don't know. All i know Kristin claims somebody else is unhappy about it. If Heigl was the one, i don't see the point of posting the blind item.
Anyway, i don't think it's Katherine, because she's friends with Kate Walsh. But it's just my opinion.
to lexie -
no one can say yea or nay as to whether people are friends if they don't actually know the people in question.
that said, how do you know she is not the type of person who would express dissatisfaction with something publicly.
if you recall she was very upset about the incident with Washington and Knight and she expressed herself very clearly on that matter. what makes that more impactful is that situation was personal and this is professional.
how would her acting like shes ok with it when she is not affect her professionally? Katherine has always been an actress that presents herself in a manner that shows she was brought up properly with the knowledge that her actions and words are hers alone so she will show her strength by saying exactly what she means.
Also with due respect to Walsh - Katherine is very unlikely to be upset - she has bigger fish to fry. She definitely wants to carve out a career in movies not in TV and if the buzz on her latest movie Knocked Up is correct it will be a huge success. Katherine is always honest and speaks her mind. I believe her and Kate are also neighbours. You only have to look at some of them at the Knocked Up premiere to realise they are still good friends.
