TV Ratings: "LOST" Keeps On Rising
ABC's outstanding drama "LOST" kept its momentum last night with 12.1 million viewers tuning in giving the drama a superior first place finish in the 18-49 demo. A repeat of last week's episode, however, scored a little over 4 million at 9 p.m.
The most watched program of the evening was FOX's "American Idol" with 28.07 million viewers. No surprise there. For third week in a row, however, the results show pulled in over 10% more viewers than the performance show on Tuesday.
At this point, it seems who gets cut is much more interesting than the actual performances.
CBS's "Jericho" at 8 p.m. continues to do badly finishing fourth in the timeslot in the important 18-49 demo.
The CW's "One Tree Hill" on the other hand returned opposite "American Idol" with 3.28 million viewers and best ratings among women 18-34 since December 6.
Earlier in the evening, FOX's "Bones" won the 8 p.m. timeslot with 10.42 million total viewers.

We're over 12 million for the first time since the hiatus I think! Did you love the episode Justin? I thought it was brilliant!
I don't see the ratings going much higher, its not a show you can just "drop in" on. But its promising that we are trending up instead of down!
I do see Lost picking up a little bit more. When people hear that Lost is back on track, they can simply catch up online. Also, many people who usually record Lost might stay up to watch the finale since it starts an hour earlier.
Did I like it? I was totally blown away by it! And for the first time after a long time I actually said to myself: "I wish I could watch the next episode right now!" I'll post my recaps for this week's shows on Saturday.
