Eric Winter Returns to ABC's "Brothers & Sisters"

He may not have landed a role of a regular just yet, but daytime soap hunk Eric Winter will return to ABC's "Brothers & Sisters" for one additional episode this season leaving gay fans of the show with a romantic cliffhanger.

In the season finale episode "Matriarchy" that features a gay bombshell of shocking proportions, Eric's character Jason McCallister and the drama's resident gay character Kevin Walker (Matthew Rhys) plan a party for their siblings.

Sure enough, when the two men get together that initial conflict (episode "Game Night", April 15) evolves into more bickering and by the end of the episode it explodes into a passionate make-out session.

Will there be future for Jason and Kevin? The same week Eric was cast for his role on "Brothers & Sisters" he also landed a role on CBS's Hugh Jackman produced pilot "Viva Laughlin." If the show makes it onto the air it would make it more complicated for Eric to have a recurring role on "Brothers & Sisters."

According to early buzz, the network likes and wants the CBS/Sony/BBC produced pilot, but the reception of focus groups has been very mixed, and other pilot projects have been sampled with more success.

I came back last night after yet another great episode of Desperate Housewives, and I laughed at this show. But not because it was so funny, but because it was just so pathetic. Does anyone really care who the gay brother wants to be with anymore?

Pathetic?

How so?

I actually think it's a great show. I agree that Kevin's relationship binge is getting a bit tiresome. I wish he'd just settle down for a bit already

But other than that, i highly enjoy the series.. The familiar bond between the actors, the character interaction between each other,to me it feels like a real family, a bit over the top, but still. The storylines are highly entertaining, even the production values are great...
