"Ugly Betty" Stars Shine at College TV Awards

"Ugly Betty's" fabulous dynamic duo Becki Newton (sassy little kitten Amanda) and Michael Urie (Wilhelmina's catty gay assistant Marc) made a wacky appearance at Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Foundation's 28th Annual College Television Awards black-tie gala ceremony at Culver Studios on Saturday night. An animated tale of two piñata toys trying to flee a birthday party and a drama about a youngster's life in an African slum were among the winners at the event that also included reality TV guru Marc Burnett who got the Innovation in Television Award, honoring his "significant and groundbreaking impact on the television landscape."
