TV Ratings: "LOST" Finally Rising
After bottoming out at 11,24 million viewers last week "LOST", one of the best dramas on television (a fact proven by yet another outstanding episode last night) finally rose in the ratings gaining 250,000 viewers.
The drama is of course still way below the 16,38 million viewers it lured in a year ago, but it did manage to show strong growth out of an underwhelming lead-in "In Case of Emergency" (4,75 million).
CBS's drama "Jericho" is still in trouble scoring only 7,91 million viewers last night, that's over 3 million viewers below its fall average.
NBC's "Friday Night Lights" did even worse with 5,35 million viewers. The drama lost 400,000 pairs of eyeballs since last week.
There was however good news for NBC's 10pm drama "Medium" which managed to rise even more than "LOST", up 800,000 viewers to 8,37 million.
The top show of the evening was of course the "American Idol" results show which pulled in 25,29 million viewers, a million less than last week.

YAY! Lost is rising, slightly, but rising. And with what I heard about the finale, those who abandoned the series are going to be really, really, really, really, ANGRY! Cause I heard rumors that if they come true, its going to be to make this season finale on of Lost's most legendary, if not its MOST legendary episode next to the pilot of course.
I'm sorry I DON"T CARE ANYMORE. I was really into Lost before they took that 16 week layoff and killed Anna Lucia, and Mr Echo. I stupidly bought into both characters, and I understand that the actors had already set up thier leaving. But I'm losing any concern with lost... How the hell did Loc survive a 8th story fall... come on.
Do you mean the 13-week layoff in the winter? Yes, that was a hideous decision. I thought the double murder of Anna Lucia and Libby was an excellent plot twist, but I have to agree Mr. Eko's death did seem very messy, rushed and badly executed. The producers did acknowledge it was flawed, but they said the actor wanted off the show immediately. Apparently he didn't click with the rest of the cast. As for Locke's fall... I've read of similar things happening in real life. Yes, it's rare, but stranger things have happened on LOST. A LOT stranger things have happened there...
