Is Sara Ramirez Leaving "Grey's Anatomy"?
Tony-winner Sara Ramirez who plays the feisty Callie Torez on ABC's mega-hit "Grey's Anatomy" has signed a deal to record her own album. "Am I back next season?" she asks TV Guide with a laugh.
The actress, who is pictured above at last week's event "Escada And Jessica Alba Toast Step Up Womens Network" where she was honored for mentoring young girls, revealed that Eric Idle and John Du Prez, the writers of Spamalot, are writing her album.
The Mexico native may only be joking about leaving the hit medical drama, but there have been rumors not only about her departure, but the departure of her colleagues Isaiah Washington and T.R. Knight as well.
Sources close to the show reveal to E! Online that there is no reason to worry as all these rumors are untrue (T.R.'s rep was the only one who officially denied them), then again things tend to change in Seattle Grace at the very last moment.
As for the close future, Ramirez says: "I think [Callie] knows her relationship with George is in sort of a delicate place, but she’s a strong lady. She knows what she wants so I’m sure she’ll go to any lengths to get it!"
