Congresswoman Solis Honors "Ugly Betty"
Rep. Hilda L. Solis (D-Calf.), visited the set of ABC`s hit series "Ugly Betty" on Monday, presenting America Ferrera with a copy of a resolution applauding Ferrera for raising the profile of Latinos in popular culture, being a role-model to them and breaking down barriers in primetime television.

Should she really be getting an awards for this? I mean Salma Hayek does run the show.
Yes, but it is America's heartwarming portrayal that keeps viewers tuning in. Besides, I can imagine Salma being happy for America.
