Happy Birthday, Katharine McPhee!

2006 American Idol finalist Katharine McPhee looked all lovely and perky at Hollywood's Tightest Bodies party sponsored by SELF Magazine earlier this week. The singer turns 23 on Sunday.

Katharine who had battled bulimia for five years admitted in an interview to PEOPLE Magazine last June she was forced to seek professional help for her eating disorder problem in 2005 after she successfully auditioned for "American Idol," the show she credits for saving her life.

The controversial judge Simon Cowell who publicly expressed his disdain for the 2006 winner Taylor Hicks said Katharine was the best singer in last year's competition and should have won the title.

Katharine is the cover girl of this month's edition of SELF Magazine.
