Autumn Reeser, Christina Applegate Join Pilots
Some of you love her, many of you hate her, but the simple fact of the matter is - chances are you'll be seeing "The O.C.'s" breakout star Autumn Reeser back on prime time TV next season. Meanwhile, "Married with Children" vet Christina Applegate is returning to series television in an ABC comedy.
Autumn Reeser who has just finished her Newport gig as the quirky O.C. beauty Taylor Townsend is headed over to The CW in an untitled project that revolves around a brainy graduate student (the show's star Ryan Devlin) and his pals who hone their talents by solving crimes.
Reeser will play a paralegal and an FBI agent's daughter, who also happens to be dating Devlin's character. David Walton will play that a class stud who also happens to be a chemistry student.
Meanwhile, Christina Applegate will be seen in ABC's comedy "Sam I Am" about a woman with amnesia who has to rediscover her life. "24" star Jean Smart has also joined the comedy series.
