ABC's "Brothers & Sisters" Casting News: Rob Lowe's Gay Brother Todd Cast
MARCH 13, 2007: 'Gays of our Lives' have just added a hottie! TV Guide reports the producers of ABC's "Brothers & Sisters" have cast the immensely attractive Eric Winter as Rob Lowe's gay brother Todd McCallister who is believed to be Kevin Walker's next romantic interest after the current storyline with Jason Lewis is wrapped up in April.
In addition to being a daytime soap hunk on "Days of our Lives", Eric Winter's previous TV credits include work on the short-lived WB drama "Just Legal" as well as ABC Family's "Wildfire". He has also made guest appearances on "Profiler," "CSI" and "Charmed".
Jason Lewis is expected to appear in two more April episodes of the Sunday night drama before Todd is introduced in a scene with Calista Flockhart's Kitty. Kevin's sister initially mistakes Todd for one of the senator's frat brothers. Once she realizes who he really is, she tries to set him up on a date with Kevin.
According to spoilers the date will go terribly, terribly wrong and Todd will end up hanging up on Kevin in a follow-up scene that takes place at the end of that episode. Kevin sure knows how to make an impression on a man.
"Brothers & Sisters" returns to ABC on Sunday, April 1 at 10/9c and will run for the rest of the season with no more than a single pre-emption.

There are no pre-emptions, Justin. B&S will run all the way through until the 13th of May. They will end a week earlier than DH's season finale, if what I'm hearing about a 2hour DH season finale is true.
It'll be 7 consecutive weeks back to back starting from April 1st. :)
Btw, Eric is cute. You may remember him from the perfume commercial of Britney Spears. He played the guy next door to Britney in that commercial. Really hot. :)
I just hope he can act. Accordingly, he has no problems or hang ups about kissing other men. So I want to see some passion and sparks coming from him when Kevin & Todd do finally hook up down the road.

That's great news, KC. But wouldn't that give us only 23 episodes? I thought there were supposed to be 24 (25 if you include the unaired pilot).
Or maybe we'll get a 1-hour DH finale and 8 more episodes of B&S. We did only see 16 so far.
Only 23 episodes for season 1.
B&S will start on April 1st and will air after a "Special Presentation" DH special. DH will return back with new episodes on April 8th. The "Special Presentation" should be like last year which is an hour long recap of the previous episodes.
Don't forget that for B&S, there was the unaired pilot, plus ABC threw away the original episode 2.

wow...its weird hwo they casted it but Lowe and winter have the same chin/jawline...they actually might look like they are brothers.
hey perhaps they find out that they are not brothers by birth, and he can show his "brother" the other side LOL

Eric Winter was awesome on Wildfire. Even though RJ the Cowboy died, it's Wildfire is one of the best shows on TV. I will definitely be looking forward to watching him in Brothers and Sisters too though.
