"Scars & Souvenirs" Spoilers: "24" Veteran Guest Stars On "Grey's Anatomy"
ABC has released the first images from the March 15 episode of "Grey's Anatomy" entitled "Scars and Souvenirs" (formerly known as "Old Wounds") confirming that "24" veteran Shohreh Aghdashloo will make an appearance as a person close to Derek Shepherd.
Iran-born Academy-Award nominated actress plays Helen Crawford, a 50-year-old doctor, who flies in to Seattle and comes to Seattle Grace where she is treated for a tumor by two doctors, one of whom is Dr. McDreamy.Helen is described by the network as "near and dear to Derek."
Once a leading actress in Iran, Shohreh Aghdashloo moved to England in 1978 to complete her education and pursue an acting career. She has lived in Los Angeles since 1987 and struggled to find work as an actress because of her strong accent. Her success came with critically-acclaimed "House of Sand and Fog".
The actress has recently had a lot of success on television appearing in "24", "Will & Grace", "ER" as well as the motion picture "X-Men: The Last Stand."
