One might argue it was easy to stand out if you did half-decent job on the underwhelming night that was last Tuesday's edition of "American Idol". Nevertheless, Blake Lewis, who already has several fan sites like 'Blaker Girls' and 'The Frosted Blakes'...
...seemed to have nailed the task with his rendition of "Somewhere Only We Know". Take another look at the performance, that Simon Cowell branded 'the best so far this evening', as well as the reactions from all three judges.

I like Blake, and I love his beat boxing...but he was a bit off pitchy in this rendition of "Somewhere Only We Know" by Keane...it's probably the high notes.
But boy...did someone layer a ton of makeup on him or what? He looked so make-uppy under the heavy glare of spotlights.
