"Desperate Housewives" Spoilers: Eva Longoria's New On-Screen Lover

"My Husband, the Pig" is the next all-new episode of ABC's "Desperate Housewives" airing next Sunday, March 4 and according to spoilers for the Rex Van De Kamp-narrated installment, Eva Longoria's Gabrielle finally meets the older gentleman who will be her strong romantic interest for the rest of the season.

Rumor has it, the man played by John Slattery, is none other than a politician named Victor Lang who will be in the run to become the mayor of Fairview.

He notices Gabrielle in her Aston Martin and asks his driver to rear end her car, so they could be introduced. The new man in Gaby's life comes however with some excess baggage.

In the following as-yet unscheduled episode "Dress Big" (it should air in late March or early April) Gaby takes out those claws in a country club toilet scuffle with Victor's former wife Penelope who notices Gaby is wearing her old couture clothes. A catfight breaks out after Penelope asks for he old clothes back!

Will this be the relationship that results in a lavish wedding ceremony come May? It's too early to tell, but one thing is sure - do not expect to see Gaby and Carlos back together any time soon.



John Slattery, a Boston born actor, has a pretty impressive previous credits including appearances in TV hits "Homefront", "Party of Five", "Ed", "Sex and the City" and "Jack and Bobby".



He also appeared in NBC's hit sitcom "Will & Grace" playing Will Truman's straight brother Sam in early 1999 episodes. The role was later taken over by "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" star Steven Weber.
