Smallville #610: "Hydro": Chloe Kicks Tori Spelling's Butt
Tom Welling directs catfight galore as 90210 alum makes an over-the-top guest appearance; we learn Clarky should teach Ollie a thing or two about kissing; and Lana finally says a very confusing "yes".
Often a target of gossip columnists and paparazzi photographers herself, Tori Spelling makes a "freak-of-the-week" appearance on The CW's Young Superman drama as Linda Lake, Daily Planet's new tattle-meister with a watery difference.
After Linda, who can transform herself into water and eavesdrop on people's conversations - a meteor-shower induced talent that earned her an office above sea level - learns Clark is an "intergalactic traveler", she threatens to blow the whistle in her noTORIous column.
Enter Allison Mack's adorable Chloe and may the bitchslapping begin! Linda makes a suspicious and yes, liquid exit promising to return to Smallville and pump up the camp factor all over again.
His Royal Hotness, Oliver Queen is afraid Lois may blow his green cover and gets his superhero ally Clark Kent help him trick her into thinking he is just an ordinary Joe.
The problem is, Lois gets some quality time with superboy only to realize "The Green Arrow" (Clark under Oliver's disguise) might teach Oliver a thing or two about kissing.
I loved how Tom Welling, who directed the episode, gave himself several telling close-up shots, as Clark conveyed much more through his facial expressions than words in the episode.
Finally, Lana comes this close to uncovering Clark's secret, and yet all she can find out is that Clark that Chloe knows what that secret is and Clark may never trust her as much as he trusts Chloe.
As she comes to terms with the idea that she is in love with two men, Lana makes her (what appears to be the final decision) and gives Lex the answer he was waiting for. But do we actually get to hear the wedding bells?
