The CW Renews "Everybody Hates Chris" For a 3rd Season
It's CW's turn at the TCA Winter Press Tour in Pasadena and the network has announced it has picked up its sophomore comedy "Everybody Hates Chris" narrated by Chris Rock for a third season. The sitcom will be available on CW's brand new online streaming service.
The network president Dawn Ostroff said in a statement: "Producing one great episode after another, this is a show that we want viewers to associate with The CW. We couldn't be happier to bring it back for another season." And I couldn't be happer to TiVo it (sorry CW, "Prison Break" gets the live viewing honor).
Also, the network has booked the premiere of the reality show "Search for the Next (Pussycat) Doll" for March 6, the show will air on Tuesday nights at 9. A week earlier, that is on February 28, the CW kicks off the next cycle of "America's Next Top Model". No word on "Hidden Palms" sudser, though.
As for the online streaming service, the network's other Monday night sitcoms - "All of Us," "Girlfriends" and "The Game", as well as one-hour shows "One Tree Hill," "Veronica Mars," "Supernatural" and "Beauty and the Geek" will also be available free to viewers up to four weeks after their initial on-air telecast.
