Renewed Shows' Loser Ratings
ABC and NBC may have given their struggling rookie dramas "What About Brian" and "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" their respective back nine orders, but the shows continue to disappoint on the Nielsen front.
"What About Brian" sunk to a season-low with 5,59 million viewers, while "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" leveled off at 7,79 million, on a par with the most recent two episodes. We all know shows with better results have been canceled, but there is too much at stake for NBC and its high-profile television comedy sketch show drama. ABC might on the other hand want to reconsider their decision.
The most watched program of the evening was CBS's CSI: Miami with 18,44 million (little surprise there), although NBC's hit game show "Deal or no Deal" (which might get wisely trimmed to just one telecast per week) is the close second with 17,97 million. FOX's "House, M.D." rerun at 9pm improved the timeslot ratings for the network by almost 50% (9,23 million).
