WAYNE BRADY BARNEY'S BROTHER ON "MOTHER"

Kudos to Neil Patrick Harris (Barney) who does such superb job on CBS's Monday night sitcom "How I Met Your Mother" injecting likeability into the otherwise hideous, pranksterish, womanizing, insult-laden, cougar-hunting, suited-up yuppie who constantly sets his friends up and laughs into their face and yet, one can not help but adore him.

A recent episode that took us into Barney's bachelor pad designed for one night stands including an illuminated bookcase porn-collection, the tolet seat that won't stay down and a life-sized Storm Trooper may have been the show's best ever, even topping last year's hilarious disclosure how Barney became Barney when a woman broke his heart and he wept into camera.

Now, the sitcom is about to get even funnier when Wayne Brady (Celebrity Duets, Girlfriends) guest stars during November sweeps as Barney's brother. Is one of the brothers adopted? The 'Mother' co-creator and executive producer Carter Bays says the less they reveal the funnier it will be.

In related news, Bryan Cranston who played Malcolm's dad on FOX's "Malcolm in the Middle" for seven years has signed on for several episodes as Ted's boss. Bryan who already appeared on this week's episode returns throughout November sweeps.
