RACHEL BILSON JOINS "JUMPER"

FOX's teen soap "The O.C." kicks off its fourth Mischa Barton-less season on Thursday, November 2 at 9/8c giving Rachel Bilson (pictured above in a recent photo-shoot), who has been a core character on the show since its first season in 2003, a more prominent role.

Meanwhile, the actress was cast in a new Hayden Christensen movie "Jumper" also starring Samuel L.Jackson. The movie which is currently shooting in Toronto comes from the same creative team behind Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie 2005 blockbuster "Mr. and Mrs. Smith".

The film, which is planned as a trilogy, is based upon the 1992 Steven Gould novel and follows a young man from a broken home who discovers his gift to teleport himself. In his quest to find the man responsible for his mother's death, the "jumper" draws the attention of National Security Agency.
