EGOS CLASH ON THE SET OF "GREY'S ANATOMY"

I was wondering if ABC had any footage of Patrick Dempsey (Dr. Derek "McDreamy" Shepherd) and Isaiah Washington (Dr. Preston Xavier Burke) get into a fight on the set of "Grey's Anatomy" this past Monday. I bet that would hit Nielsen jackpot.

As you have undoubtedly heard the two actors got into a heated argument on the set of the medical drama over a delay in shooting a scene due to cast members not being ready (it was not specified which cast members and how many of them) . According to the story published in the tabloid it got rather physical as Washington grabbed Dempsey by the throat and shoved him.

Well, the inside sources confirm the article published in New York Daily News on Wednesday is 100% true, but the two actors have allegedly made amends since then.

Diva-like conduct is quite common on the set of successful TV series as people who are involved with them often develop enormous egos. Who can forget the infamous "Vanity Fair" shoot with the leading ladies of "Desperate Housewives" last year in April? Physical violance is however quite exceptional, making this story a rare treat for the tabloids.
