HAYEK TO GUEST STAR ON "BETTY"

Movie star Salma Hayek who is the executive producer of ABC's new smash-hit comedy "Ugly Betty" will guest star on the show in what will be her very first appearance on network television. The actress will first appear on the November 2nd episode "Trust, Lust and Must".

Hayek will play Sofia Reyes, a newcomer to the Mode magazine who "makes a lasting impression" (you be the judge of what that actually means) on Daniel Meade (Eric Mabius) and Betty Suarez (America Ferrera).

This will be a multi-episode arc as the actress/producer is scheduled to appear on each episode throughout the month of November.
