MEDIUM'S EARLY RETURN
NBC's paranormal drama "Medium" starring Patricia Arquette will be back on the schedule much sooner than the viewers anticipated.
Originally a successful midseason replacement from early 2005, the Emmy-winning drama had created a loyal and substantial fan base on Monday nights.
For this reason, many fans were disappointed when they learned last May NBC would not be returning the show in September due to their heavy investment into new show development and limited space on the schedule, but rather postpone the third season premiere till an unspecified later point in the season.
Of all the new shows, however, only the cult genre drama "Heroes" has had success in the Nielsens, so the networks has decided to banish "Kidnapped", one of new the new shows, to Saturday nights and book new episodes of "Medium" for Wednesday nights starting November 15.
Special airings of "Dateline NBC" will fill the slot till then.
