Avon to Launch Patrick Dempsey's Scent

Ever wondered what the scent of Dr.McDreamy would smell like? Avon will answer that question following the launch of Patrick Dempsey men's fragrance later this year, the company confirmed on Tuesday.


The "Grey's Anatomy" star's wife and celebrity make-up artist Jillian Dempsey, who has been Avon's global creative color director since 2006, posed with him during the partnership announcement at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills on Monday.


The frangrance is set to debut in the US in November, just in time for the Christmas sales, and launch globally in 2009. Dempsey said: "My wife Jillian has enjoyed her experience working with Avon, and I look forward to joining the family as well."

Patrick Dempsey in Vanity Fair Italia

"Enchanted" star and one of TV's hottest docs Patrick Dempsey, who celebrated his 42nd birthday on Sunday, appears in the current issue of Vanity Fair magazine in Italy.

Dempsey, who recently modeled for Versace in GQ Magazine, lost out to Matt Damon for the title "Sexiest Man Alive" in People Magazine's 2007 annual special issue. The actor's next movie "Made of Honor" opens May 2.

Patrick Dempsey's "Enchanted" Scores at the Box Office

"Grey's Anatomy" heartthrob Patrick Dempsey is not only TV's hottest doc, but also a Disney box office star whose latest flick "Enchanted" has already scored over $120 million worldwide.

Dempsey who is in Central Florida preparing for the Rolex 24 hour race, can next be seen in the romantic comedy "Made of Honor" which will be released nationwide on May 2, 2008.

In the movie, also starring "Mission Impossible 3" star Michelle Monaghan and "Journeyman's" Kevin McKidd, Dempsey plays a guy in love with an engaged woman who tries to win her over after she asks him to be her maid of honor.

On small screen, Dempsey fans can look forward to an eventful episode of "Grey's Anatomy" in which the love triangle between Rose/Derek/Meredith may end as McDreamy makes his choice.

Will Shonda Rhimes MerDer "Grey's Anatomy"?

I smell trouble at Seattle Grace. Not only may the writers' strike cut the current season of "Grey's Anatomy" to 11 episodes (6 of which have already aired), but Patrick Dempsey says in today's TV Guide News Report his McDreamy character and the show heroine Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) may be hitting Splitsville for good. And then, if the worst happens, we might not see fresh episodes of the show till September 2008. That's not good, right?

Dempsey says: "Derek and Meredith’s relationship has gone as far as it can go. I don’t think it’s going to go unless she commits to marrying him or goes into therapy and starts working on herself. We’ll have a cliff-hanger with this last show and there will be a resolve that seems to be permanent."

Of course the powers that be behind the show may only be teasing the audience before the final episode this fall ends with a marriage proposal. Whatever the case, it better be good, because if the show disappears from the schedule for 9 months, the last thing you want to leave behind is millions of pissed off fans.

Patrick Dempsey To Drive Chevrolet Corvette at Indy 500

Dedicated car and race enthusiast and star of ABC's hit series "Grey's Anatomy," Patrick Dempsey will drive the 2007 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Pace Car at the 91st Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, May 27.


Dempsey is a co-owner of IndyCar Series and Indianapolis 500 team Vision Racing and he drives in selected sports car races for Hyper Sport Racing and off-road events.


On Sunday, Dempsey will bring the field of 33 starters to the green flag at the start of "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing," the world's largest single-day spectator sporting event.



Five-hundred production replicas of the 2007 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible will be offered for sale to the public with an MSRP starting at $66,995.

Patrick Dempsey's Family Visit

Patrick Dempsey welcomed some precious visitors on the set of his new movie "Made of Honor" this weekend as wife Jullian stopped by with children to pay McDaddy a visit.

Patrick Dempsey checked out of Seattle Grace only last week on Wednesday when he began shooting his new movie co-starring Michelle Monaghan and Kelly Carlson.

Dempsey had just finished filming the wedding ceremony all "Grey's Anatomy" fans are talking about when he again put on a tuxedo for a wedding scene in the movie.



The film revolves around Tom (Dempsey) and Claire (Monaghan), who have been platonic friends for 10 years.

He’s a serial dater, while she wants marriage but hasn’t found Mr. Right. Sydney Pollack will play the father of Tom.

Just as Tom is starting to think that he is relationship material after all, Claire gets engaged.

When she asks Tom to be her "maid" of honor, he reluctantly agrees just so he can attempt to stop the wedding and woo her.

Patrick Dempsey Prefers Racing To "Grey's Anatomy"

41-year old "Grey's Anatomy" star Patrick Dempsey took part in the timed 2.5-hour Grand-Am Koni Challenge GS sports car race on Sunday finishing 6th of 39 cars with co-driver Charles Espenlaub of Tampa.

The actor is a driver and part-owner in the pro-Am sports car series. He said that maneuvering a sports car and going as fast as 170 mph gave him more of a rush than filming dramatic scenes for his TV show.

"I really enjoy racing much more than I enjoy doing the show," Dempsey said. "I mean I enjoy the show, but it's a different thing because it's like a long distance race."

The Dempseys Take a Ride

"Grey's Anatomy" star Patrick Dempsey and his wife, makeup artist Jillian Fink may have a 3-year old daughter and twin boys born in February (as well as highly successful careers, of course) but that doesn't mean they don't have time to take proper care of themselves.

Dempsey is known for his passion for cycling and during Easter weekend his wife put a helmet on and joined him for an energetic ride in Bel Air. The couple left kids at home and, sporting smiles as they were being photographed by the paparazzi, clearly enjoyed their little adult time together.
