Jesse Metcalfe Threatens Tabloid with Lawsuit

Former "Desperate Houseboy" Jesse Metcalfe has threatened In Touch magazine that he would sue the tabloid unless they offer retraction, correction, and apology following last week's piece entitled: "Has Jesse Fallen Off the Wagon?"

The actor who is known for his wild partying ways as much as for his well-plucked eyebrows insists he is not an alcoholic.

The letter Jesse's attorney Lavely & Singer sent Bauer Publishing magazine states that the article is "completely false, fabricated and defamatory" to their client depicting him in false light.

It suggested Jesse was drinking Heineken at a John Mayer concert on June 9 as well as Apple Martinis on May 31 at LA's Area nightclub.

According to the letter, Jesse has been sober since he checked into Promises rehabilitation center, a popular Hollywood rehab which is currently housing actress Lindsay Lohan.

Metcalfe ended up in rehab after a drunken binge at LA's Sky Bar in March where he is said to have verbally abused staff.
