Robert Buckley Returns to "Lipstick Jungle" (UPDATED)
As Candace Bushnell's NBC drama "Lipstick Jungle" continues to travel across the globe with a solid debut on Australia's Seven Network on Sunday night, images have recently emerged from the "Lipstick Jungle" set in New York revealing the return of actor Robert Buckley in his saucy role.
"Lipstick Jungle," which launched in Australia on June 30 pulling in 925,000 viewers (about 200,000 shy of first-placed Network Nine), recently resumed production in New York City.
After the dramedy's first season was cut short by the writers' strike (only 7 episodes were produced), the show is moving to a new timeslot, Wednesdays at 10 this fall, opposite ABC's "Dirty Sexy Money."
Some critics and viewers believe the torrid on-screen affair between Kim Raver and Robert Buckley was the driving force behind the show's modest success.
They will be happy to hear that despite Nico Reilly (Raver) ended her affair with amateur photographer Kirby Atwood (Buckley) in the season 1 finale, the actor is back on the "Lipstick Jungle" set taping scenes for season 2.
