"Grey's Anatomy" Spoilers #412 "Where the Wild Things Are"

Three and a half month-long break in the middle of the 4th season of ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" finally comes to a close on April 24 when ABC's Thursday night line-up returns with 5 all-new episodes ("Lost" may get to air a 6th episode). So what's in store for those sexy docs at Seattle Grace? Stills and spoilers, after the jump.



Six weeks after Derek and Meredith ended their relationship and Derek began dating Rose, Meredith and her fellow residents, Alex, Izzie and Cristina, compete in a surgical contest, with Bailey serving as judge.

Meanwhile interns George and Lexie adjust to their new, squalid apartment, and Callie finds a friend in her roommate Cristina's nemesis, Erica Hahn. Amy Madigan guest stars as Dr. Wyatt and Cheech Marin guest stars as Otis.

Creator Shonda Rhimes revealed to TV Guide: "Old relationships will become new again, some people you thought would never get together will, and there are going to be some interesting outside influences."

Rhimes also promised that George and Izzie have "put it to bed for the night. They've left it at the idea that it's not necessarily about the bad sex as it is the bad timing. What will be interesting to see it that after that intimate explosion of events, whether they can just be friends."

But is that really the end for Gizzie? I'm sure there are tons of you out there who beg to disagree.
