"Terminator" Premieres January 13
FOX has added the word "Terminator" to the title of their new sci-fi series "The Sarah Connor Chronicles" to help the rookie series build stronger buzz ahead of its premiere on January 13.
The premiere of the reinvention of the "Terminator" film franchise will replace the 7th season premiere of "24" on January 13 at 8/7c and move to its regular post "Prison Break" slot, Mondays at 9 the day after.
The network is expected to air 9 episodes from the original 13-episode order which they have been able to produce prior to the writers' strike. The show should air through March 3, although FOX may run out of fresh episodes of lead-in "Prison Break" by mid February.
In the series, again facing relentless Terminators that will stop at nothing until 15-year-old John Connor (Thomas Dekker), the future leader of the resistance, is eliminated, Sarah Connor (Lena Headey) stops running and starts fighting back against fate and the machines that are out to get her son.
