"One Tree Hill" Leaps Forward in Season 5
"One Tree Hill" is about to go where not many TV dramas have gone before - in an unprecedented move the show will leap forward 4 years ahead of last season's finale. Check out the details and first stills from the 2-hour 5th season premiere which The CW has scheduled for Tuesday, January 8 from 8-10 p.m. EST/PST.
Season four ended as the young characters graduated high school and season five begins, post-college, four years later.
Some of the characters have found success while others have failed. Some are the same, some are very different.
And while their storylines will actively move forward, the show will also dip into the past, returning to incidents and events of the last four years.
Sometimes the flashbacks will take only a moment or a scene, other times they may take an entire episode.
The show will replace "Reaper" airing on Tuesday nights at 9/8c. "Reaper" may return later in the season in as yet to be determined timeslot.

hailey look soo cute but mouth looks awful! omg i cant wait
it's replacing Reaper?! i love reaper and while, yes, i do watch one tree hill, it is more out of the whole i have watched it since season one and will not stop watching until the very end even if it does suck, but damn, i love reaper and i don't want it off the air!
