"Alias" Baddie Joins "Dirty Sexy Money"

Actress Gina Torres who played Anna Espinosa on ABC's spy thriller "Alias" has joined the network's Wednesday night sudser "Dirty Sexy Money" as the wife of Blair Underwood's character Simon Elder.

The actress will first appear in the show's 11th or 12th episode which are currently in production.

The character's arrival is sure to raise a ruckus as Simon Elder begins an affair with one of the Darling children in an upcoming episode.

The recurring role may be reduced to only one episode if the cast and crew are not able to complete all 13 episodes which have been written.

The show producer Greg Berlanti who joined other high-profile show runners on picket lines yesterday says he is considering going back to his production duties next week.
