Lourdes Benedicto to Play Bonnie Somerville's Lesbian Lover on ABC's "Cashmere Mafia"

"24" and "ER" actress Lourdes Benedicto was cast as Alicia, Bonnie Somerville's ("Grosse Pointe," "The O.C.") lesbian lover on the upcoming ABC prime-time soap "Cashmere Mafia" from "Melrose Place" creator Darren Star.

Sommerville plays a bisexual character on the Lucy Liu-fronted drama set to premiere in late November following the conclusion of the current cycle of ABC's hit contest "Dancing with the Stars."

Benedicto co-starred in last year's failed flashback drama "The Nine." In 2000, she played John Borrowman's ("Central Park West," "Torchwood") romantic interest on the short-lived Aaron Spelling sudser "Titans."

Benedicto began her career on Steven Bochco's ABC cop drama "NYPD Blue."
