"LOST" Spoilers: Other Others Arrive
Production on the 4th season of ABC's "LOST" begins in Hawaii today and TV Guide has just announced that The Wire's Lance Reddick has been cast as the infamous Arthur Stevens, a role that spoiler lovers have been buzzing about for weeks. Reddick joins Ken Leung ("The Sopranos") in what is sure to be the arrival of "Other Others." Oh, Jack - what have you done?
Reddick starred on HBO's "Oz" opposite fellow Lostie Harold Perrineau who is, as it was announced during ABC's TCA Q&A session, coming back to "LOST" as Michael after a year-long break.
According to rumors, Arthur is an intimidating corporate recruiter, who is capable of sending chills up your spine with his smooth talk and creepy smile. He is however a ruthless son of a bitch.
Ken Leung was rumored to play the brilliant mathematician character Russell, but it now appears he will be playing a different confidential role known for the time being only to head writers.
"Veronica Mars" star Kirsten Bell was pursued by the producers to join "LOST" in the 4th season, but she chose to work on NBC's "Heroes" instead partly because she has many friends there and partly because she could stay in LA.
She may have played Charlotte, a hot twentysomething who is said to be "precocious, loquacious and funny... a very successful academic who also knows how to handle herself in the real world." Charlotte appears in episode 2.
Actor Jorge Garcia who plays Hurley stated on his blog the official first day of production would be Wednesday, August 22, but he already filmed some scenes for the "awesome" season premiere last Friday.
