"So You Think You Can Dance" to Wrap in August

FOX has confirmed its summer hit competition "So You Think You Can Dance?" will wrap its third season the week of August 13.

The show will premiere with an 85-minute special on Thursday, May 24 at 8/7c, the day after the big "American Idol" finale.

The following week, the show moves to its regular timeslots - Wednesdays at 8 p.m. (2-hour performance show) followed by Thursdays at 9 p.m. (1-hour results show).

The penultimate results show will be pre-empted with an NFL pre-season game on August 9 and instead air at a special time, Tuesday at 9 p.m. on August 14.

The day after, FOX airs the final performance show and then on August 16, the season comes to a close with a 2-hour finale.

Mark your calendars, it'll be one hot summer on FOX.
