Nepotism or Fate? ABC's "Brothers & Sisters" is a Family Business
APRIL 2, 2007: "Brothers & Sisters" writer Cliff Olin, whose father Ken is the executive producer on the show, mother Patricia Wettig plays series regular Holly and sister Roxy guest starred as Jason Lewis' girlfriend, reveals to TV Guide magazine:
"There's something special about the people who bring you the series that trickles through the entire crew and comes across on screen. It's like a collective heart, a human soul you can sense, and it lures you in".
"On top of working for a show that I truly believe in, I get to work with my family. My whole family. Is it nepotism or fate? Probably a bit of each. A show about a big family, occasionally with four Olins in the credits."
"Our family business happens to be TV, but we're not dissimilar to the Walkers. We're loving and supportive, somewhat dysfunctional, and we can't seem to stay out of each other's business (pun intended)."
"No one can be more honest, more ruthless than family, because they know you'll still love them tomorrow. The harshest words take on different meanings. I've experienced this with my own family, and it's influenced the way I write about the Walkers."

Funny how Cliff is blonde and looks moer like his father and Roxy is brunette and yet looks more like her mother.
LoL...god how I love DNA...
But anyway, great job on the part of Cliff to work his sister into the gig too because Roxy is still taking acting classes, and her role in B&S is enough to get her a SAG card, I believe. 3 episodes minimum. Yeah....good job! :) I think they helped her qualified for SAG.
