Freddie Prinze Jr. May Return To Prime-Time

CBS has announced Leslie Bibb of "Crossing Jordan" and "Popular" fame has joined Freddie Prinze Jr. in a new comedy pilot for CBS called "Atlanta" about a man and a woman who meet at a funeral and then keep bumping into each other.

"Mad About You" alum Paul Reiser is behind the pilot script and filmmaker Harold Ramis ("The Ice Harvest") will direct the half hour.

Former teen-movie star Prinze Jr. starred in his own sitcom for the ABC network in 2005 entitled "Freddie" which was said to have represented some actual events from the actor's life. The laugher was canceled after only one season.
