Food Fight Breaks Out On "Brothers & Sisters" (Spoilers)
APRIL 13, 2007: Nora Walker (Sally Field) has come to terms with the idea that her late husband had been unfaithful to her. She also accepted the fact his mistress Holly (Patricia Wettig) manipulated her way into the family business. She even opened her home to their illegitimate child Rebecca (Emily Van Camp). But when Holly puts the moves on Nora's new romantic interest - all hell breaks loose!
As you may have noticed in an earlier post this week there is a very exciting episode of "Brothers & Sisters" coming up on May 6 which was in production in the past couple of weeks.
You can now see fresh images from a good old fashioned food catfight scene which was filmed on Friday with Sally Field and Patricia Wettig going at it with gay abandon.
I am not sure if the final shot of the actresses laughing their butts off is a part of the drama or not, but I suppose I won't be making a mistake if I said it wasn't.
Great to see the outtakes, though. We have always known the cast was having a ball taping this show.
The episode "The Grapes of Wrath" airs Sunday, May 6. You can see new episodes of the drama on April 15 and 29, as well.
And thanks to KC for alerting me to these hilarious images from ABC MediaNet.

My god... I cannot stop loving this show, it seems to get better and better. Def. the best show that came out in years..
Can't wait for the food fight.
And isn't Sally Field just great?
Damn, and when will Skotty return?
You are so welcome Justin! I'm glad you read my comment and posted about it when you did. :) I can't wait to see Nora and Holly fight, and Holly get her come uppance because she went after Mark.
Stefan: I don't know when Scotty is to return. I hope the end of this season but it isn't looking likely. Maybe in season 2, if we're lucky.

I absoultely love Brothers & Ssiters, but I just hate the way they underuse Balthazar Getty. Did you noticed there was no Tommy at all on the last new epidose??
By the way I hope ABC keep B&S on sundays... the show is great but I don't know if the ratings will survive without Desperate Housewives...
Kong: thanks... perhaps in the season finale... Anyhow... i always thought he would be back next season, not this one..
Btw i read on Bloggers and sisters that they were making 25 episodes this year, of which only 23 will be shown this season... i hope that it means they will return earlier next season..
I can't wait for the dvd collection to arrive..I hope they'll put on some bloobers (foodfight?)
i was the anonymous one..my bad
Stefan:
No, they produced 25 episodes, production 101 was the original pilot which was scrapped, which was replaced with production 102, which became the aired pilot. The original episode 2, which was production 103, was scrapped by ABC, and that was later replaced with production 104, which then became episode 2. After that, everything else is the same, but 2 production numbers ahead.
Btw, Stefan, Luke MacFarlane may or may not come back to B&S depending if his new pilot, Supreme Courtships, gets picked up by FOX or not for the new season. We'll see. I do hope so, and yet I don't because I really want him back as Scotty.

Thanks.. i knew about the original pilot, but not the other episode. (Hmm i am kinda curious about those two 'lost' episodes, anyone seen copies?)
But i am very glad they recast Nora..Sally Field being on the show was just the thing that made me watch it, perhaps if she wasn't cast, i wouldn't have started with B&S at all.
For Luke mcFarlane i do hope the pilot is picked up.. But for me, personally?..I'd rather they didn't.(It's a pilot for Fox?..Heh, probably will get picked up and after 8 episodes it gets canceled.) I'd love to see him back on B&S..
And Lawyer shows never were my thing (Loved Judging Amy though, which wasn't a lawyer show perse)
