Jeffrey Dean Morgan's TV Guide Interview
Jeffrey Dean Morgan who played Denny on ABC's blockbuster drama "Grey's Anatomy" has just revealed to TV Guide what the medical drama's upcoming clip show that he is hosting will look like, if it has jumped the shark and if Denny will ever come back.
According to Morgan, the clip show that recaps the third season so far will be much different than any of the clip shows in the past, because he will be hosting the show on-camera, not as a voice-over.
The special airs on April 12.
Morgan also said he didn't think "Grey's Anatomy" jumped the shark with the "Meredith Goes To Heaven" storyline (what else would he say?). The writing is spectacular, it's well acted and 30 million people watch it.
The actor originally thought he would be filming the February episode with Katherine Heigl, not Ellen Pompeo, so when he finally got to do the 'shoulder brush' scene with her it was sad and bittersweet because they spend much time together the previous year.
Although Jeffrey believes he will never come back to "Grey's Anatomy" again, he did not deny his "Supernatural" character (who also bit the dust earlier this season) would be coming back to the CW series.

Now I really miss Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Why couldn't Shonda Rhimes first create the series she was going to create for Jeffrey and hold off Grey's 2.0? Ugh...
