LIGHTS ARE OFF ON NBC

The cancellation clock is ticking again. In what is truly unfortunate news, NBC's exceptional football drama "Friday Night Lights" lost viewers as opposed to its already low-rated series premiere a week ago. A mere 6,28 million viewers tuned in last night (7,17 mil last week).

ABC may promote Ted Danson's new comedy "Help Me Help You" the #1 new comedy this season all they want, but the fact of the matter is that the sitcom loses half the audience of the blockbuster "Dancing with the Stars" which was once again the evening's top show (19,99 mil viewers), and that classifies the sitcom into the loser category.

Veronica Mars on the CW is also having problems with viewer retention. Despite Gilmore Girls bringing 4,61 million viewers to the network, Veronica loses one third of that.
